1. Do I need a permit to camp at Boston Lot?

Yes, you need a permit to camp in the Boston Lot conservation area. Please call the Planning and Zoning Office at 603-448-1457 Monday through Friday 8 a.m. - 4 p.m. for more information. The forms cannot be completed on line as we need to verify information prior to a permit being issued. 2. Do I need a permit to sell goods at Colburn Park?

Yes. In order to hang a banner at Colburn Park, you must complete an application for a Banner Permit. Complete the application in the Office of the City Manager or by visiting the Licensing Board page.

3. How do I reserve Colburn Park for my event?

In order to reserve Colburn Park for your event you must complete an application for Use of City Property. Applications can be found and completed in the City Manager's Office.

4. How do I reserve Storrs Hill Lodge for my event?

In order to reserve Storrs Hill Lodge for your event you must contact the Lebanon Outing Club to check for availability and complete their reservation form. Please call Jen Grant at 448-5153

5. How do I reserve a pavilion for my gathering?

Lebanon Recreation and Parks has 3 pavilion areas: 

Riverside Community Park / Skatepark (Large pavilion)

Eldridge Park (small pavilion)

Civic Park (small pavilion)

While we do not reserve our pavilions for exclusive rentals, we do maintain a calendar of use so that groups don’t overlap. To get on the calendar please call 448-5121 or email recreation@lebanonnh.gov. 

The CCBA also reserves a large pavilion in downtown Lebanon, and can be reached at 448-6477

6. Do I need a permit to hang a banner on the fence at Colburn Park?

Yes an application must be filed with the City Manager's Office. Complete the application in the Office of the City Manager or by visiting the Licensing Board page.

7. What are the hours that the outdoor pool is open?

8. Does Lebanon have ice skating?

Lebanon Recreation and Parks Department maintains two "skate at your own risk" ice rinks at Pat Walsh Park - one for open skating and one for hockey. Features of the rink is that there is seating, and it is lit up at night. We are always striving to make good ice. Relay questions about the rink to

9. Can I sell door-to-door in Lebanon?

10. What is the Mascoma River Greenway?

The Mascoma River Greenway is a planned 4-mile pathway. For more question about the greenway or to get involved, contact Paul Coats.

11. How can I help improve the parks in the City?

12. What is the new rail trail bridge by Goss-Logan in Lebanon, NH?

The new rail trail bridge is part of the Mascoma River Greenway project. If you have questions or would like to get more involved in the greenway or trail bridge, contact Paul Coats.

13. Where is a good place to walk or run?

We try to maintain a list resources that can be helpful to find a local race, or somewhere local to just get outside for a good walk or run. View the cities facilities for ideas.

14. Does my dog need to be on a leash within the City of Lebanon?

Yes. 

Per City Code, Chapter 18, Animals, Article I Dogs and Other Animals, Section 18-3, Restraint.

All dogs within the City of Lebanon shall be restrained from running at large. A dog shall be deemed to be restrained from running at large when it is kept upon the property of its owner and keeper, or is kept within an enclosure on the property of its owner or keeper, or is kept on a leash. A dog is not restrained if, when tied, it is able to reach another’s property or any public domain. Hunting dogs in training and/or pursuing legal game shall not come under the provisions of this article.
