Lebanon City Council began its review of the proposed 2020 City Budget on Monday, November 4, 2019. A total of five work sessions are being held during the month of November. All budget work sessions are open to the public and all are encouraged to attend. Lebanon Solid Waste on The Exchange

On Tuesday, November 12, 2019, Lebanon Solid Waste Manager, Marc Morgan, will be participating in a panel discussion on the NHPR call-in talk show, The Exchange.  The focus will be on solid waste/landfills and how waste reduction, reuse, and recycling fit into the mix. The Exchange show will also examine how NH compares regionally when it comes to solid waste/recycling practices.

Lebanon Police Basketball Tournament 3 on 3

LPD Annual Basketball Tournament

Each year, the Lebanon Police Department hosts a 3-on-3 basketball tournament at the CCBA to raise funds for a local nonprofit organization. This year's tournament is on Sunday, November 17, 2019, starting at 8:30 AM.

Recreation & Parks Highlights


Holiday Coloring Contest – This contest is open for children ages 4 to 9. Please visit LebanonNH.gov/ColoringContest to print this year's coloring pictures and registration form. Entries will be judged in three age groups and must be received by Lebanon Recreation & Parks no later than Monday, December 2nd. 

‘Tis the SeasonSaturday, December 7th from 2pm to 5pm on Lebanon Mall and Colburn Park. Come explore Downtown Lebanon and celebrate winter and the holiday season with a pop-up Farmers’ Market, carriage rides, musical entertainment, crafts, refreshments, a tree lighting ceremony, visits with the Frozen Cast and Santa Claus. K-4th Grade North Pole Calling – Ho, Ho, Ho!! Children in grades K-4 can have a special call from Santa himself this season! Complete a registration form online at LebanonNH.com/Register. Register by December 9th for a call on December 11th. 

Whaleback Afterschool Tuesdays – January 7th to February 11th from 2:35pm to 6:15pm at Whaleback Ski Area. Grades 5-8 spend Tuesdays after school at Whaleback taking ski/snowboard lessons or exploring Whaleback’s trails and terrain park! Register online at LebanonNH.com/Register by Friday, December 13th.

Storrs Hill Lessons – Ages 4 to Adult at Storrs Hill Ski Area.  Operated by the Lebanon Outing Club, Storrs Hill Ski Area provides lessons for all ages and abilities in both Skiing and Snowboarding, as well as Racing/Ski Jumping (ages 7-18), Telemark Lessons (12+), Freestyle Team (7+) and Light Backcountry Skiing (18+). Register online at LebanonNH.com/Register by December 16th.
