The "One Bag, One Punch" System

The City of Lebanon recently adopted a "One Bag, One Punch" system at the Lebanon Solid Waste Facility. This means that each bag of trash you bring to the landfill will be charged one punch on a landfill punch card. To get the most from the new system, we suggest you RECYCLE as much as possible and CONSOLIDATE smaller bags into a larger bag or container. The following video is meant to help landfill customers better understand how the "One Bag, One Punch" system works.

New Yellow Line Bus Service

Good news from one of the Upper Valley’s key transportation providers! On August 5, 2019, Advance Transit (AT) launched a new bus route, the Yellow Line, expanding the range of free transit in our region. The Yellow Line operates between of 7:00am and 6:30pm on weekdays, in the morning and afternoon hours, according to the new Yellow Line Schedule

Community Conversation

As a follow up to the 2016 Downtown Visioning Study, the Planning & Development Department is working with the community to craft new design regulations for development in Downtown Lebanon. Join the Community Conversation on August 15th at 6:00pm in Lebanon City Hall Council Chambers.

On August 1st, new Lebanon Police Officer Ben Bailey was sworn in, the promotions of Sgt. Hubert and Sgt. Gifford were recognized, Officer Perkins received a life saving award, and the Cyber Crimes Unit received multiple awards.

YOLO List: Hot Glass Experience – Saturday, August 10th from 8:30am to 3:00pm. Whether you are honing your skills, or a first timer looking to make something awesome, the Hot Glass Art Center has your covered! No experience needed. If you’re interested, you are ready!
