New Landfill Fees:
What You Need to know

LebRec is Moving!

The Lebanon Recreation and Parks office will be moving to River Valley Community College in August! A few details:

  • Our office will be closed on August 5th and 6th for the move. You can still do business online at LebanonNH.gov/Register.
  • We are seeking volunteers who are available to help us move. Interested in helping? E-mail recreation@lebanonnh.gov.
  • You can find us back in action on Wednesday, August 7th at our new location. Entry for the Recreation and Parks Office will be through the rear entrance of the building (see star on photo).

    National Night Out 2019

    The Lebanon Police Department invites you to attend their 4th annual National Night Out event in Colburn Park on Tuesday, August 6, 2019, 5:00pm to 8:00pm. Get to know your neighbors, learn about crime prevention and develop community partnerships.

    Meet Lebanon Police Officers, Detectives, members of the Tactical Containment Team and Mountain Bike Patrol, and watch a Police K9 demonstration. The Lebanon Fire Department, as well as other city departments and local organizations will be joining in the fun. Hot dogs and cold drinks will be served for a small donation to benefit our Child Health and Community Programs.

    There will be plenty for kids to do including balloon animals, face painting, a hoop shoot, dunk tank, and many other activities!

    Photo IDs Required

    Due to a recent change in New Hampshire Motor Vehicle Laws, the City of Lebanon must now require customers to present photo identification for all motor vehicle transactions when conducted in person. The purpose of this law change is to help prevent fraud and identity theft.

    Lebanon Firefighters Battle Heat 

    On July 21, 2019, the Lebanon Fire Department battled the high heat during the extinguishment of two fires. One was a vehicle fire and the other a building fire. There were no injuries at either incident. Anyone who might have witnessed the building fire is asked to please contact Inspector Duane Egner at 603-448-8810.

    K9 demo at Camp Kaleidoscope with Officer Perkins and K9 Blesk

    K9 Demos at Camp Kaleidoscope

    On Friday July 19, 2019, Senior Officer Greg Parthum organized a K9 demonstration at Camp Kaleidoscope with K9 Senior Officer Jeremy Perkins and his partner Blesk, along with K9 Officer Nicholas Alden and his partner Nitro. K9 officers defined the important role K9s play in drug and missing person investigations.

    Crack Sealing Project Begins

    City Roadways Crack Sealing Project:  Indus, Inc will be performing crack sealing of roadways throughout the City starting Wednesday, July 31, 2019 through Friday August 9, 2019. Crack Sealing is the placement of a sealant material into cracks of an existing pavement surface to prevent excess water and moisture from penetrating the asphalt.  This is a preventative measure to keep the road from deteriorating further.
