MLK/Civil Rights Day Closures

In observance of Martin Luther King, Jr./Civil Rights Day, please be aware that City Hall offices, Lebanon Libraries, and all other City administrative offices will be CLOSED on Monday, January 20, 2020. 

The Lebanon Solid Waste Facility will be open regular hours from 8:30am to 5:00pm. Please note that the scales shutdown at 4:00pm. 

Please have a safe and enjoyable holiday!

City Offices Open at New Location

On Monday, January 13, 2020, all City Hall Offices successfully reopened at their new location, 20 W. Park St. in Lebanon (formerly Citizens Bank). All offices are located on the first level except for Planning & Development which is located on the 2nd floor, Suite 219. 

Attending a Meeting?
City meeting rooms are located on the 3rd floor of the building. Please note that doors to the main lobby and office areas (West Park Street entrance) are not accessible for evening meetings. Meeting rooms can be accessed via the Pedestrian Mall (Access “A") or the Hanover Street Lower Level Parking Lot (Access “B”). Once in the building, please take stairs or elevator to the 3rd floor. Signs will be in place to direct you to the correct meeting location.

Downtown Tunnel Project Community Conversation

Tunnel Community Conversation

The City of Lebanon invites all businesses and residents from the Downtown area, as well as other members of the community, to attend a public community conversation on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 at 4:00pm to discuss and provide feedback regarding the construction phase of the Downtown Tunnel Rehabilitation Project. The meeting is open to the public and will be held in Council Chambers located on the 3rd floor of 20 W. Park St. in Lebanon.

The discussion will cover the general components of the project construction, along with the temporary impacts to private property and businesses within the area. Preliminary construction is anticipated to begin this week, so your attendance and input is very much appreciated.

Upcoming Election Information


Supervisor Sessions and Extended Hours

The Supervisors of the Voter Checklists will be in session three times (Sat. 1/25/20; Mon. 1/27/20; Sat. 2/1/20) prior to the Presidential Primary for the purpose of additions and corrections to the voter checklist. The City Clerk's Office will also be offering extended hours on two Saturdays for voter registration and absentee balloting.

Absentee Ballots Available

Absentee Ballots for the February 11, 2020 Presidential Primary are available at the City Clerk's office during regular business hours. There is no early voting in New Hampshire, however, qualified voters can vote by absentee ballots.

Filing Period for March Municipal Election

The filing period for the March 10, 2020 City & School Election will begin at 9:00 AM on Tuesday, January 25 and will end at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 11, 2020.

American Red Cross Bloodmobile

Police & Fire Red Cross Blood Drive

Lebanon Police and Fire Departments will be sponsoring an American Red Cross Blood Drive at The Courtyard Marriott on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM.


The American Red Cross is in critical need of donors, as they are distributing blood faster than it can be collected. There is currently less than a two-day supply of blood available for the hospitals.

Burke Mountain Trip - Monday, Jan. 20th, 9am – 4:30pm, Burke Mountain, drop-off and pick-up at City Hall; Grades 5-8 can join Leb Rec on a trip to ski and board at Burke Mountain. Register online at LebanonNH.gov/RegisterThere are still spaces available.

S’more Ice Skating Party – Friday, Jan 24, 6 pm – 8 pm, Pat Walsh Park Rinks. Join the Friends of Lebanon Recreation and Parks to celebrate winter fun with family entertainment at the outdoor ice-skating rinks. Date is weather dependent and subject to change.
