Exit 19 northbound ramp on ramp in Lebanon to be closed beginning Monday (11/7/22)
LEBANON — The I-89 Exit 19 northbound on-ramp from Mechanic Street in Lebanon is slated to be closed to allow for drainage improvements for about a week starting on Monday, according to the New Hampshire Department of Transportation.
The work schedule is weather dependent, and the reopening date may be delayed a few days because of weather. Once drainage, paving, curb and line striping have been completed on the on-ramp, it will be opened to traffic.
A detour using message boards and temporary construction signs will direct traffic to use Exit 19 southbound on-ramp to I-89 southbound Exit 18 to reverse directions to I-89 northbound.
This work coincides with the ongoing Exit 19 northbound off-ramp closure where crews are currently finishing bridge demolition and scheduled to begin concrete work next week. The off-ramp has had its existing drainage rehabilitated and has been repaved. The off-ramp will reopen to traffic once the bridge work is complete and the bridge is paved and striped.
