On October 18-19, 2019, the Planning Department hosted a Visioning Charrette to explore how Main Street in West Lebanon Village and the surrounding area could be enriched through a variety of enhancements. More than 50 residents, property owners, and business owners took part over the course of 2 days to work together on the formulation of a potential future vision for West Lebanon Village.
The final Charrette Report provides a summary of the collaborative charrette process with members of the Lebanon community and highlights many of the resulting ideas and outcomes. This Report builds on previous studies, reaffirms the priorities of the West Lebanon chapter of the 2012 Master Plan, and begins to formulate tangible and quantifiable action plans for the City to implement in the future.
The intent of the Report is to identify short, mid, and long-term actions that will show up in future capital budgets, department work plans, and other implementation mechanisms in order to equip the City with a method for realizing an exceptional environment for future generations.
