Arts & Culture Commission
The City Council established the Arts and Culture Commission to promote, cultivate, support, and establish policies for arts and culture activities in the City of Lebanon.

Board of Cemetery Trustees
In June 2018, the City Council adopted an ordinance to establish a Board of Cemetery Trustees pursuant to RSA 289 in order to operate and maintain all cemeteries owned by the City of Lebanon.

City Council
The City of Lebanon operates under a City Council/City Manager form of government. A nine-member City Council is elected for two-year terms. The City Council is responsible for establishing City policies.

Class VI Roads Advisory
The Class VI Roads Advisory Committee shall review the status of all of the Class VI roads within the City to include their current, historic, and possible future uses.

Coalition Communities 2.0
On February 3, 2020, the Lebanon City Council authorized the City Manager to join the City of Portsmouth and other municipalities to advocate in regard to proposed statutory changes for the distribution of Statewide Education Property Tax (SWEPT).

Conservation Commission
The Conservation Commission conducts research concerning the local area and seeks to coordinate the activities of other organizations working for similar purposes.

Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Commission
Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Commission was established to enhance the City's support for a welcoming environment, serve as a resource for City government and the community and advise the City government to ensure the community is united.

Downtown Lebanon TIF Advisory Board
The Downtown Lebanon TIF Advisory Board advises the City Council and District Administrator on the policies and actions related to the implementation, maintenance, and operation of the Downtown Lebanon TIF District Development Program.

Economic Development Commission
Economic Development Commission is responsible for coordinating the overall economic development of the City in accordance with the City’s sustainability objectives and adopted Master Plan.

Governance Committee
The Governance Committee acts as an advisory committee to the Lebanon City Council and serves as the liaison between the City Council and City staff in order to review the effectiveness of local government.

Heritage Commission
The Commission is responsible for the proper recognition of resources that are valued for their historic, cultural, aesthetic or community significance.

Lebanon Airport-Tech Park TIF Advisory Board
The Lebanon Airport-Tech Park TIF Advisory Board advises the City Council and District Administrator on the policies and actions related to the implementation, maintenance, and operation of the District.

Lebanon Energy Advisory Committee
This committee identifies opportunities and makes recommendations to the City Council with regard to reducing energy use to the environmental and fiscal benefit of the City.

Library Board of Trustees
The Library Board of Trustees consists of seven regular members (elected) and up to three alternate members (appointed) who meet on the fourth Tuesday of every month.

Ped & Bike Advisory Committee
The Pedestrian and Bicyclist Advisory Committee’s mission is to help make the City of Lebanon more safely walk-able and bike-able.

Planning Board
This board is responsible for reviewing all new construction, except 1- and 2-family homes, and subdivisions of land occurring in the City.

School District/City Task Force
The School District/City Council Task Force meets to identify areas where the City and School can partner to increase communication, operational efficiencies, and cost-saving measures in an effort to best serve the residents of Lebanon.

Tree Advisory Board
The Lebanon Tree Advisory Board was established to provide support, education and advocacy for trees in the City of Lebanon.

West Lebanon Revitalization Advisory Committee
The West Lebanon Revitalization Advisory Committee works with the City's Administration to develop plans for the revitalization and redevelopment of the Central Business District area of West Lebanon.

The Zoning Board of Adjustment, pursuant to New Hampshire law, hears and decides appeals from administrative decisions, special exceptions and variances.
