Camera Registry Program

When a crime occurs, police will be able to identify the locations of nearby video cameras and enlist the assistance of the community to help officers collect video evidence and follow up on leads.
This specialized team provides the department with a group of officers who are able to respond to, and actively engage with, individuals who may be in crisis due to a mental health issue.
Deaf or Hard of Hearing Driver Card
The New Hampshire Deaf or Hard of Hearing Driver Visor Card is a tool that facilitates communication by quickly notifying law enforcement and other emergency responders that a driver is deaf or hard of hearing. The visor card is used by people who are deaf or hard of hearing to communicate with police during traffic stops, helping make interactions safe and easy.

Problem Oriented Policing
In 2016, the Lebanon Police Department launched our “Problem Oriented Policing” initiative within the community. This initiative is a department-wide strategy that is dedicated to identifying and solving persistent community problems. Identified issues can be criminal in nature or quality of life issues that are affecting neighborhoods and areas of the City.
